Silver Lake has been a favorite mountain retreat for fishermen since 1916. It
remains so today. The lake and others in the June Lake Loop along with several
nearby streams, offer up some of the largest trout in the Eastern Sierra. Fishing
is good from shore, a float tube or a boat.
 To make your visit more enjoyable, Silver Lake Resort has a fleet of fishing
boats for your convenience. All the proper equipment you need is aboard the
boat for your convenience and safety. Outboard
motor boats rent for either a full or half day.
For visitors that are seeking a little
exercise or something different, kayaks are also available. The rates
are noted at the left. If you bring your own boat, there is a launch ramp available.
Premixed motor boat gas is available for purchase. |
